The First Visit
Your first visit will be the start of a lasting relationship that will be positive and productive for your children’s dental health.
We invite you to stay with your child during the initial examination if you think it is necessary. During future appointments, we suggest you allow your child to accompany our staff through the dental experience. We can usually establish a closer rapport with your child when you are not present.
Our goal is to gain your child's confidence and overcome their initial apprehension. However, if you choose, you may come with your child to the treatment room. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.
Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. However, if you fail to call and cancel appointments (with 24 hours notice) two consecutive times, our office will not schedule additional appointments for your family.
Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary greatly, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. If possible we recommend you bring your Employee Dental Benefits Booklet to your initial visit if your employer has provided you with one.
Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
Payment Options
One of our goals is quality dentistry at a reasonable price. The initial appointment fee will be discussed with you when you make your first appointment. At that appointment, a treatment plan with fees and options will be presented to you.
Any portion of your child's treatment, which is not covered by insurance, is due the day the services are performed. If you request we will be glad to review your assignment of benefits with you.
To make payments easier, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and personal checks. We also now offer Care Credit for those wishing to apply for convenient monthly payment plans.
